4 1/2 Questions with Katherine Campbell Rossi
It’s time for your weekly 4 ½ Questions!!
For those of you who haven’t been paying attention over the last few months, that’s 4 specific, getting-to-know questions from the PA On Stage team — and one partial question that our interviewees can ‘make their own.’
This week? 4 ½ Questions shines a spotlight on actor and director Katherine Campbell Rossi, director of The Orpheus Theatre Company’s production of Twisted, a raucously funny retelling of Aladdin from the perspective of everyone's favorite Royal Vizier, which opens this weekend and runs for three performances only!
1. If you could choose any celebrity to voice your GPS, who would it be?
J.K Simmons without a doubt. He'd have to sound as furious, disappointed, and intimidating as he did in Whiplash. It's the only way.
2. How many Swedish Fish do you think you could eat?
Maybe like a handful on my own, but buckets full if it was a competition.
3. What alternate career path might you have followed?
My parents always said I would make a great lawyer when I was a teenager, but I think they meant I had a bad attitude.
4. Other than keys, wallet, and phone, is there something you always carry with you?
We're all lucky if I can find my wallet, keys, and phone. I always carry an opinion on the Oxford comma though (pro, obviously).
½ What did you think -
…having a cuddly dog would be like? I always imagined it would be great, and it is don't get me wrong. But Queenie ( the dog in question) sat on my lap two days ago, and I haven't been allowed to rise since. My love for her is strong, but I am growing weak from lack of food and water. My resources in arms reach are dwindling, and she's made it clear the last granola bar is for her. Send help.
Performances of Twisted will be at Tellus360, 24 East King Street in Lancaster. For more details, click below.
