This production is a staged reading of an original script by Francesca Amendolia. Adapted from Oscar Wilde's 1890 novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray dares to ask the questions that Gamut Theatre’s upcoming production of Frankenstein will explore more deeply: What is a monster? Why do we seek so desperately to ward off death and decay? How will we fare when we face our demons?
Each performance features a brief talkback after the show where we discuss the value and challenges of telling classic stories in new and exciting ways.
