4 1/2 Questions with Keith Bowerman

At PA On Stage, we’re always trying to find out more about the people who make up the theatre community.  So, we came up with our 4 1/2 Questions: four specific, getting-to-know questions from the PA On Stage team — and one partial question that our interviewees can ‘make their own.’

Keith Bowerman is an actor, director, digital artist, photographer, musician, and writer.  He firmly believes that you aren’t living your life to its fullest potential if you don't look at least a little bit ridiculous while doing it.
Keith is the director of Reefer Madness, which is currently playing at The Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg through April 24.

1. What is your current cell phone ‘ wallpaper’?

My wife in her penguin robe, snuggling a plushie.  The lock screen is her eating a taco.  (I think she hates it.)

2. What is something you disliked as a kid, but have learned to like as an adult?

Stove-Top Stuffing.  I used to HATE it, and now we eat it all the time.  (Culinary tip: substitute Stove-Top for the breadcrumbs in your meatloaf.  Adds flavor and texture!)

3. What car did you learn to drive in?

Primarily a 1985 Chevrolet Cavalier.

4. Do you have a nickname – or a former nickname you wish you could revive?

Among my high school friends, I was Bowie (pronounced like "ow, why you kick me in the head?")  It was a nickname I inherited from my uncle, and to be frank, I HATED it.  You learn to live with it though.  I'll hear it every now and then these days and it kind of surprises me when I do.

½   What are two –

of the all-time best managers in professional wrestling?

Jim Cornette and Bobby Heenan. Fight me.
