About The Show:
Two pairs of characters in two separate plays, each with their own agenda, square off over love and crime in Gamut Theatre's production of August Strindberg's The Stronger and The Outcast.
The Stronger
Starring Gamut Theatre Performing Cohort: Erin Shellenberger and Abby Carroll
Two directors. Two actors. Two unique experiences.
On Christmas Eve, two actresses meet in a café. Over the course of their interaction, a secret is deduced that will permanently alter their friendship and perception of the world around them.
This production of The Stronger features two interpretations; one directed by Francesca Amendolia featuring Erin as Mrs. X and another directed by Kim Greenawalt featuring Abby as Mrs. X. The final show on April 25 will feature both interpretations of The Stronger.
The Outcast
Starring Gamut Theatre Performing Cohort: Ross Carmichael and Lyeneal Griffin
Two men, Mr. X and Mr. Y. sit in Mr. X's study and begin a seemingly innocent conversation about the weather which then rapidly develops into a disturbing and fiery analysis of their own emerging convictions concerning guilt, justice, and personal responsibility.
