ABOUT THE SHOW:

“We are going to be the kids you read about in textbooks.” - Emma Gonzales, Stoneman-Douglas High School shooting survivor and American activist

Inspired by the social and political rise of the youth of America, this devised piece centers on the struggles, challenges, and frustrations of the rising generation. Open Stage partners with local teenagers and improv comedy artist and teacher Jennie Adams to create a piece of theatre inspired by and reacting to the issues that face this generation of young people.
