ABOUT THE SHOW:
In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on "The Corny Collins Show" and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, and a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Is Tracy’s new status as a teen sensation enough to topple Corny Collins’ reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show?
Winner of eight Tony awards, including Best Musical, Hairspray is a family-friendly musical piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs.
