ABOUT THE SHOW:
Journey back to the 18th Century to hear the events that shaped the life of the man who helped guide our nation to independence and later negotiated the treaty that brought an end to the Revolutionary War.
The role of Ben Franklin is played by former Theatre Harrisburg board chair and actor Ray Flynt. One critic said, “Flynt transforms himself into Franklin, cultivating a sense of intimate communion with this fascinating, multifaceted man.”
“This play is the words of Ben Franklin,” Flynt explains. “I imagined the audience visiting Franklin’s Philadelphia home to enjoy his wisdom and treasure his remarkable life as printer, inventor, philosopher and statesman. The stage at Theatre Harrisburg’s Krevsky Center is the perfect venue for such an intimate portrayal.”
A perfect way to wrap up the celebration of Independence Day.
