CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT
Oyster Mill Playhouse
Updated: March 14, 2020

As many other theatres and groups have evaluated the current state of the public health due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we have evaluated our operations at Oyster Mill Playhouse.

As an all-volunteer organization, we rely on the leadership of our Board of Directors, and were unable to meet to approve a plan of action until today.

The Board of Directors has voted to postpone the currently rehearsing production of Barefoot in the Park until May 22nd. All tickets will be moved to the new run time, on the equivalent day and time.

This will push back our full 2020 Season, and has resulted in the cancellation of CHESS in Concert and the production of August: Osage County.

If you have pre-purchased tickets either for individual performances or as a Season Subscriber, we will be crediting you for these canceled performances toward a future production, or to your 2021 Season Subscription. If you are willing to donate your ticket credit to the theatre in this time of need, you are able to do that as well.

Groups who have purchased Private Performances will be rescheduled, and new tickets will be issued as soon as the theatre is able to reach out and address your needs. Your patience is appreciated, and we will be working to serve you as soon as possible.

Our Box Office will be closed to walk-in patrons until further notice. Please call or email the theatre if you need help with an OMP issue. We will return messages as we are able; the best means of communication is to email boxoffice@oystermill.com.

The new production schedule will be:

·       Barefoot in the Park: May 22 – June 7 (we will be canceling the Saturday Matinees)

·       9 to 5 the Musical: July 24 – August 9

·       The 39 Steps: September 25 – October 11

·       Into the Woods: November 5-22

The rehearsal, audition, and performance schedule from the established production schedule will be retained by the new production assigned to the dates.

Gift cards will continue to be available for purchase and, of course, any donations to help us through the coming weeks and months would be extraordinarily welcome.

Above all, we hope that all of you and yours remain safe and healthy. We hope to see you at Oyster Mill Playhouse in the near future when conditions permits.
