CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

Keystone Theatrics/Playhouse at Allenberry

Updated: March 12, 2020

Keystone Theatrics is committed to the health and safety of our audiences, performers, volunteers, and staff. Based on the most recent information in regards to COVID-19 and recommendations from the World Health Organization, The Centers for Disease Control, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, we are making the following programming changes:

Performances of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat scheduled for Saturday, March 14 and Saturday, March 21 are cancelled. Patrons who have purchased tickets for either performance will be contacted with additional information and options.

Auditions for Hairspray Jr, which were scheduled for March 15 and 16, have been cancelled and the production of Hairspray Jr will be postponed until fall 2020.

Upcoming auditions for our summer productions will be evaluated and monitored in the coming weeks and may be rescheduled as needed.

At this time, all events and shows after April 13 will proceed as scheduled, but we will continue to closely monitor the situation.

These are not easy decisions or ones we take lightly. We believe deeply in the power of theatre to bring communities together in difficult times and we look forward to being able to resume that work as soon as possible. Safety is paramount and will remain the most important factor in how we respond to the current moment. We will update immediately if anything changes and keep you apprised if the situation changes.

Please take care of yourselves, and we look forward to seeing you back at The Playhouse at Allenberry!

Sincerely,

Keystone Theatrics Board of Directors and Staff

David Richwine
