Most of us have heard the story — or perhaps the rhyme — about Lizzie Borden and her ax. But have you heard of Laura Fair? Or Jane Toppan?

Men might get the headlines when it comes to murder, but throughout history, women had taken on their fair share of the crime. And in many cases - those crimes have been committed for good reason.
