Why Broadway set all-time records in 2017

According to The Broadway League, a trade association for the Broadway industry, last year was one of the best on record for box office revenue on Broadway.  Smash hits like Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen opened the door for increased revenue, but a high number of shows, plus targeted ticket pricing also played roles in boosting the bottom line.
